With enough shit floating about his neck (that he himself shat out) to convict him six ways to Sunday thanks to the remarkable effort invested by the Jan 6 Senate Select Committee, it's about time someone, anyone jolts Merrick Garland awake, have him perform his duly appointed duty, and throw the seditious son of a bitch in jail where he has belonged (long before he ever set foot in the White House).
And that said, why won't Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson make the criminal referral to the DOJ? What in the hell is going on with both of these guys!?! There's precious little time before Nov '22 (and '24)...
They know nothing will happen. There is unfortunately a good chance the next president will be from the GOP. Their only chance of success is to motivate more DEM voters to get off their complacent duffes and vote. If the next president is DEM then you might see the DOJ bring charges against Rump.
